Robert Craig is a small, ultra-premium winery, renowned for handcrafting limited quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon from exceptional wine grapes in the great mountain appellations and foothills of Napa Valley.

Robert Craig has consistently ranked among the foremost Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon producers since its founding in 1992. Named one of the Top 50 Napa Valley Cabernet wineries for the past 15 years by The Wine Spectator, Robert Craig garners 90+ ratings in major wine publications.

The Robert Craig wine program is based on farming and winemaking techniques which produce balanced, ageable cabernets that display unique vineyard qualities.

Affinity: Our hillside-grown Bordeaux-style Cabernet which features Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.

Mt. Veeder Cabernet: From the rugged slopes of the Mayacamus range at an elevation of 1800 feet on Napa's Western boundary.

Howell Mountain Cabernet: From high atop (2280 feet) Napa Valley's eastern range.

Each of these wines conveys the "terrior" of the growing region's distinctive soils, climate, and varietal characteristics. Although the vineyards used to make these wines only a few miles apart, each Cabernet has very distinctive profile of aromas and flavors.

The Robert Craig winemaking style emphasizes rich, concentrated fruit flavors and rip, finely textured, and integrated tannins, creating wines that are delicious and inviting upon release, with all the structure for long-term aging.

In addition to our three Cabernet Sauvignons, the winery produces small qualities of Durell Vineyard Chardonnay from Sonoma Valley. Future releases will include Spring Mountain Cabernet (2008) and a Howell Mountain Zinfindel (2008).
